Internship @ CNBC

My Experience
What I did as an graphics intern was creating and editing graphics for daily news which enabled me to learn new creative outlets. I was also responsible for updating ongoing creative pieces for shows and sometimes I was given other tasks that vary in requirements, depending on what my supervisors, Ms Kathie or Mr Terry, needed help with. In addition, I was asked to stay for an extra 2 weeks, as a freelancer, to teach the new intern, which really showed how effective Ms Kathie and Mr Terry's guidance was.
After those few months of internship, I had picked up many different skills in different areas. Software wise, I got a lot better in my Photoshop skills as I rarely used Photoshop, opting for Premiere Pro and After Effects instead but because Photoshop was the main application I used for the graphics, I have now learnt how and when to use most of the shortcuts. For personal skills, I feel that I can take criticism better and had taken more initiative to ask for feedback instead of waiting for it. For example, I would speak up and voice my questions to Ms Kathie or Mr Terry, and also ask them for help or suggestions on how to improve my graphics.

Below are a few of the different types of graphics I created and a few screenshots of my work on air.
